In the Camargue more precisely, salt is a local product. Cultivated on the salt tables of Aigues-Mortes, by a dozen or so salt workers who have inherited a vocation that goes back to antiquity, salt is essentially nourished by the sun and the mistral wind. Salt flowers, fine salts and large salts, naturally white, are harvested by hand using a precious know-how that respects nature and its movements. The Aigues-Mortes salt works, a Natura 2000 site, offers flower of salt, coarse salt and ground salt for sale. Also an online store.
