Manade to discover the breeding of Camargue horses and bulls

Between tradition and emotion, the Manade Jullian invites you to discover the soul of the Camargue. On a 35-hectare site between Aigues-Mortes and Le Grau-du-Roi, Camargue horses and bulls evolve under the watchful eye of the gardians. Watch as the animals destined for the arena are sorted, and immerse yourself in this world on horseback, in a horse-drawn carriage or in a trailer. Camargue evenings on Thursdays and Saturdays, set to the rhythms of the gardians and gypsy melodies, offer a veritable voyage to the heart of local traditions, between discovery, conviviality, gastronomy and bullfighting passion.

Prenez le temps de vous y arrêter ! Pendant l'été 2023, nous avons réservé une matinée avec les gardians pour toute la famille. Moment très sympathique de bon heure le matin afin d'éviter la chaleur excessive. Nous accompagnons le gardian lors du nourrissage des taureaux. On les approche de très prêt et les enfants sont émerveillés et effrayés en même temps.

Le moment de convivialité après la promenade est apprécié c'est un plus.
Le prix de la matinée reste très accessible surtout pour une famille en recherche d'activité locale.

Une superbe découverte avec une guide passionnée, dans cette manade les taureaux sont rois et leur éleveur soucieux du bien-être des animaux qui ont su rester sauvages . Sublime balade en calèche.
