Massamier La Mignarde is much more than a wine estate, it is first a history dating back to Roman times, when a Roman legionnaire named Maximus, settled there and gave the name Maximiana to this property which then became Massamier. Today, it is Frantz Vènes who has taken over the family domain of 70 hectares of vineyards in the middle of the Livinière with the names Minervois la Livinière, Minervois and wines of the Coteaux de Peyriac. In the cellar you will discover a range of 2 white, 2 rosé, 7 red and 1 late harvest, wines of character, powerful in mouth and great subtlety. The International Wine Challenge is awarded by the International Wine Challenge in 2005, and is awarded by the International Wine Challenge. During our visit, we had a real stroke of heart for the "Les Garouillas" 2011 developed based on sirah, Grenache and carignan, an elegant wine with a lot of roundness in the mouth and a peppermint finish. In 2016, 250 truffiiers oaks were planted on the property, adding to the richness of this land in the Aude. Edit: The situation has now been effectively remedied by the winery. Following a return from vacation, a helpful person found the plethora of messages and responded. All wine that was bought has been shipped and was promptly received by the proper addressee. I would not hesitate to recommend the winery, their wines - and having something shipped home or as a gift elsewhere. It is a beautiful place and their wine is lovely.
