Pottery on the Cassoulet road to Castelnaudary, one of the last artisan potteries in the Lauragais region, worth a visit.
This small, family-run pottery is located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. It's one of the last remaining artisan potteries in the Lauragais region, and here, everything is made by hand. Step through the door of their workshop and you'll discover the Not brothers turning and lovingly crafting jugs, vases, decorative and garden items, as well as the famous "cassole", the dish in which cassoulet is simmered. Move on to the century-old wood-fired kiln where their creations are fired, and finish in the drying room where the turned and slip-coated pottery rests.
