An old fishing village, Les Cabanes de Fleury was once made up of modest reed huts, typical of 19th century Aude coastal villages. Nowadays, this pretty seaside resort is a pleasant stop for families, walkers and photographers. Its beautiful wild beach, where naturism is allowed on a part, extends to Saint-Pierre. It is also a dream haven for yachtsmen, who can count on the pontoons of the port, located one mile (1.6 km) from the mouth of the Aude, with its 230 moorings all year round, plus 80 in summer.
