We do not sleep at the mill of Vivier! The mill turns, it turns! It is a whole know-how and a tool transmitted from generation to generation within a family of millers. On the edge of Castelnaudary, along the canal, the Moulin du Vivier perpetuates an ancestral activity of flour production and offers an introductory tour by reservation to explain the workings of the milling profession. The store of local products within the mill offers a variety of quality flours and seeds, with a focus on short circuits.

Direkt am Canal du Midi an einer Schleuse gelegen neben einer Mühle! Moderne Küche mit großem gemeinsamen Aufenthaltsraum und Aussensitzplätzen! Großes Bad und Ausblick aus dem Bett auf den Kanal vor dem Fenster im Zimmer im EG! Wir hatten auf der Tour auf dem Weg in die Unterkunft eingekauft und im Mühlenladen uns mit einem leckeren Wein versorgt! Das Frühstücken stand in der Küche im Korb! Die Garage extra für die Fahrräder war mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet! Parkplatz für das Auto ist auf dem Grundstück vorhanden! Den Abend haben wir an der Schleuse verbracht und die Boote beim Schleusen beobachtet!

Tombée par hasard sur cet endroit au cours d' une ballade alors que je cherchais justement depuis quelques temps un distributeur de farines artisanales.
Un accueil agréable : à la fois très pro et très sympathique par la dame en boutique. Merci.

Le gîte est un Endroit très joli au bord du canal du midi avec écluses. Il est paisible d y dormir. Nous avons passé 2 nuits.
Une des personnes qui gère la boutique nous ont apporté le petit déjeuner qui était très bon. Personne très gentille et serviable.
À côté se situe une boutique où ils vendent des produits artisanaux d où de différentes farines meulées dans leur moulin.
