Here, everything is authentic: the workers, who saved their company from an announced closure by creating their Scop (Société coopérative ouvrière et participative), but also the recipe for the ice creams made on the spot. A "few spoonfuls of Carcassonne", as if nicely advertised on the brand's website, the Belle Aude combines gourmet delicacies and high added human value. The company offers exclusively homemade products: full-fruit sorbets, whole milk ice creams, traditional, organic range, iced logs, to which are added some more surprising nuggets. One thinks in particular of the mojito sorbet with agricultural rum, or the exclusivity for a chain of frozen products, with scrubland honey and almond... La Belle Aude offers a wide variety of flavours. But not too many! The co-operators are particularly keen on simple and natural working methods, local, short circuit sourcing, or more exotic products from responsible agriculture: royal apricot from Roussillon, roasted and green pistachio from Iran, fleur de sel from Gruissan, organic lemon from Sicily... but also new ice creams, 4 new ORGANIC flavours, 4 full-fruit sorbets (Banana, Lemon, Mango and Blackcurrant). La Belle Aude, and its little jars with their distinctive packaging, will make you melt with pleasure!
