Since 1988, this structure has been offering guided tours of the ramparts in horse-drawn carriages with professional drivers. At the Porte Narbonnaise, 3 horse-drawn carriages with a dozen seats leave every 10 minutes (from 2 persons), to make you discover the medieval city of Carcassonne comfortably. A pleasant visit of 20 minutes, at the rhythm of the horses' steps. A playful and instructive attraction that appeals to young and old alike.

Annual closure from early November to early April. Weather-dependent, additional days of closure possible if weather does not allow horses to circulate. High season: open every day and on public holidays from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on Saturdays outside July and August. Easter vacations and May bank holidays: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m./2 p.m.-5 p.m. All Saints' Day vacations: 10.30am-12pm / 2pm-5pm. Free for children under 2. Adults: €9.50. Children (aged 2 to 10): €5.50. No reservations possible. Cheques not accepted. Guided tour.

Pauvre bête

C'est inhumain de faire faire autant de trajet à des chevaux attelés à une calèche remplie de gens sous un soleil de plomb avoisinant les 40°. Et même pas une gamelle d'eau entre chaque trajet. On parle des bêtes de cirque mais la ça vaux pas mieux. Prenez le train ou la Zoé certe un peu plus cher mais par pitié pensez aux chevaux.....

Petit tour en calèche qui remplace le petit train qui ne fonctionne plus.
C'est sympa, mais un peu court, 20minutes pour 8 euros
