Maison Pennavayre is one of the oldest bookshops in the Cité. Situated opposite the Château Comtal, on the square in front of it, this bookshop sees thousands of tourists linger on its shelves every year. You'll find books on the Cité, Catharism and the region in several languages, as well as local products such as cassoulet and other culinary specialties, wines from the various local appellations, not forgetting the unmissable souvenir items.
