LE COUVENT
A restaurant serving homemade tapas, featuring local produce and a varied wine cellar.
Le Couvent is first and foremost an authentic 17th-century convent: the decor is carefully thought out to highlight the period architectural ensemble. Then there's our homemade tapas, featuring local produce and the kind of "terroir" and "canaille" we love! Duck hearts en persillade, homemade empanadas and mussels au gratin sit alongside fried xipirones, burratina tomato confit and duck breast tataki. A real treat! The wine cellar is just the right variety to accompany your meal in the best possible way.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.

Good location and very helpful staff.
Rooms were small, only couple of beds in the room had lockers, WiFi was very slow (it was advertised as Usain Bolt speed - may be they are comparing to the speed when he is sleeping), worst of all, there were only one toilet for 5 rooms. So morning or eve could be a hustle.

It was an okay hostel. Rooms look like a hospital and the restaurant/breakfast was never open.
(Avis d'origine)
Only criticism is lack of dividers between the beds otherwise dope

Very nice hostel - clean and modern! Located in the lower (second) part of the city of Carcassonne close to the train station.
