With 30 winegrowing estates spread over 10 communes in the Aude region, Cru Boutenac, recognized as AOC Corbières-Boutenac in 2005 and AOC Boutenac in 2024, is distinguished by its highly distinctive wines. Carignan, the emblematic grape variety, gives the wines their distinctive structure, with a deep purple hue. Blended with Syrah, Mourvèdre or Grenache, these wines offer scents of spices, ripe fruit and hints of mocha. The terroir of sandstone and rolled pebbles around the Pinada massif produces powerful, harmonious wines that are well worth tasting.
1-2-3 go and taste! On October 22, 2023, the second Marathon d'Occitanie, the Boutenac Marathon in Corbières, will be held. 42 km195 of suffering, of course, but above all of pleasure, and that's what will prevail for this second edition. www.marathonduboutenac.com
