Very early on, he was interested in spirituality and became a magistrate and a Freemason, for which he was disbarred. In the house where this historian of Catharism, who died in 1978, was born, there is a permanent exhibition on this religious trend, from various angles: historical, spiritual, political and sociological. For a long time, his Society of Remembrance and Cathar Studies was the only organization to study this religion. On the first floor, an audio book allows visitors to discover his life. Video and interactive terminal present the other Cathar sites in a comfortable room.
