PISCICULTURE DE VILLETTE
La Villette pisciculture is the only sign in Ile-de-France to sell real Carpes carps. Of course, some garden gardens or green space companies will be able to market carp, but they will be less successful and often less beautiful. Founded in 1896, La Villette is currently headed by Emmanuel Coupin, a average and passionate biologist. The sale of carp is visit, from April to July, because it is the best time to introduce these fish into ornamental basins. They supply to grade A carp among the best importers in Japan. Specimens of all sizes are marketed from 10 to 80 cm. Prices change according to the origin of carp, differentiated by grades : grade A (origin of Japan - the highest line), grade B (often regraded A regraded) and grade C (origin France). All colour combinations and shapes are available : Kohaku (white with red tasks), Hi utsuri (black tasks), Goshiki (5 colors)… The only specimen that is sold more expensive is Tancho (40 €), i. e. the famous carp with the red circle on the head. A specimen between 10 and 15 cm grade A is sold 27 €. Prices increase dramatically when the animal is larger. As for the award-winning carp, they are sold at prohibitive rates. The fish farming in La Villette also sells food for Koï.
