ASSOCIATION BAŠTINA
Baština means "heritage" in Croatian. The association invites travellers to initiate the different material and immaterial heritages: written, built, natural and intangible (oral traditions, live arts, know-how, rites…). Promoting slow tourism, Growers Baština favours the gentle roaming of a walk on foot, on the back of mule, on cart, on boat, on train… and it completes equitable development by participating in a solidarity fund of 4% taken from each of its trips and assigned to a project for development of a community (neighbourhood, village, association…). According to the terms of the association, the multi-polar nature of the journey "implies a reinterpretation of space and time with a ante chronology (the tour on the bridge with the migrant), one during tourism (the tour on the remote pole with the inhabitants) and post-tourism (the relationship to the return of the journey with the migrant and the inhabitants of the territories visited)».
