Built in 1863, when the line between Paris and Gisors was constructed, Pontoise station has not changed much since then, even if its traffic has obviously exploded. It opens onto a vast esplanade, which leads in a few minutes' walk to the historic heart of the city, thus very easy to access. From here, you can reach the capital in about thirty minutes, by suburban train (line H and J) or the RER C. Numerous intercity bus lines are also accessible from the premises, which have been completely renovated.
