Museum set in a green oasis, hosting interesting and entertaining temporary exhibitions

All concrete, the construction of this museum in the middle of an oasis of greenery on the Rochers Verts massif, reminds us of the environment in which the last hunters of the region lived some 12,000 years ago. Didactic and interactive, it reveals the prehistory. Eight rooms show the evolution of the different periods, from the ancient Palaeolithic to the Carolingian era. Interesting and entertaining temporary exhibitions complete the scenography of this exceptional museum.

Très beau musée. Le bâtiment est moderne, les salles sont lumineuses et, chaque objet est bien décrit. Nous sommes venus durant un weekend où il y a eu de l'animation en extérieur. Le personnel est souriant et agréable.
A faire si vous voulez découvrir la préhistoire en Île de France.
