Claude and Marie-Hélène have set up their chambres d'hôtes and gîtes in a charming19th-century building here in Melun. Having fallen in love with the enchanting setting, close to small artists' villages and famous castles, they offer excellent advice and breakfast, table d'hôtes and picnic baskets for bike outings (rented from the Bee's Station next door, which they also run). The rooms are lovely and the setting very peaceful.

Petit déjeuner très correct avec produits locaux et pain "maison". Bons conseils de restauration aux alentours proches.
L'accueil très moyen...plus occupé par la location de vélos que par leurs hôtes...
Garage difficile d'accès...
C"est l" espace de la plus grande chambre qui a sauvé la mise...
Mais nous n'y retournerons pas.
Petit déjeuner nul pain aucune viennoiserie pas de pâte à tartiner
Demandé un chocolat chaud reçu un nesquik froid pas de charcuterie ni fromage ni yaourt pas fruit beurre dans ravier en plastique posé sur la table
On voyage tout le temps en chambre d hôte jamais eut un déjeuner aussi minable
Chambre déco très moche salle de bain et toilette juste une tenture qui nous sépare de l autre chambre
Hyper déçu

Very comfortable room with huge bed, lots of space and a slightly alien-effect night light
At night the villa smells of baking bread.
