Museum with a beautiful collection of locomotives, in a former SNCF roundhouse, classified as a historical monument, in Longueville.

The museum houses 13 steam locomotives in an old wooden SNCF roundhouse dating from 1911. Visitors can also admire old freight wagons, diesel locomotives, vegetation-covered rails, and rows of steam locomotives and mail wagons dating from the very early ^20th century. The association organizes dinner evenings in restaurant wagons, an "Easter Egg Train" in mid-April, a "Pumpkin Train" for Halloween, etc.

Low season: open on Sundays and public holidays from 1pm to 5pm. High season: weekends and public holidays from 10:30 am to 6 pm. A table of the annual traffic flows of the various machines is available on the association's website: ideal for preparing a possible thematic outing. Free for children up to 5 years old. Adult: 4 €. Child (from 6 to 11 years old): 2 €. Guided tour (possible all year round, including outside regular openings. However, only for groups by appointment, subject to contacting us at least one month in advance). Shop.

Visited this hidden gem today and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son is a train enthusiast and he thought there were a good range of engines and exhibits. We stayed just over an hour as we had a train to catch but we could have stayed a bit longer. The toilets were really clean. My husband was really struck by the way the engine house was constructed. I would recommend a visit, you will receive a warm welcome.
