Municipal museum, tracing the history of Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne from Neolithic times to more recent times

The museum traces the town's history from Neolithic times to more recent times: Gallo-Roman remains, ^12th-century fortifications, Renaissance and 17th-century buildings, etc. Among the exhibits are paintings, sculptures and old earthenware. All this is summarized at the entrance to the museum, with a large historical fresco recalling the key moments in the history of Moret and its surrounding area. The museum mainly hosts temporary exhibitions and events on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days).
