This celebration in honour of the rose was born in… 1947! The festival of roses, an essential event of the spring briard, is one of the oldest festive traditions of the department. Initially, it celebrated the memory of the past of the city and its surroundings. It is organised every year on the first weekend of June by the initiative union. In total, nearly 315 000 roses are used. In the programme: parade parade, parade, majorettes and carnival. Every year, a queen and her dauphines are elected and walk on the corso flower. A beautiful, old-fashioned perfume party from the arrival of the first rays of sunshine.
