For over 12 years, Claire and Fred have been welcoming guests to La Bastide de Barbizon for a relaxing weekend or a business seminar. They offer 4 warmly decorated guest rooms. The quiet location on the outskirts of the town center offers a multitude of activities in the forest: climbing, hiking, biking, canoeing... The hosts also offer drawing, pottery and cookery classes, as well as treatments and massages. The breakfast of homemade jams, viennoiseries and cheeses is exquisite.

We stayed there over the weekend.
Very beautifully decorated, charming couple. Claire was very helpfull. They even have bicycles which they kindly lent us. Barbizon is an easy walk away.
We will defenetly come back !

In de achtertuin woont hun huisdier schildpad die al 70 jaar oud is. De de huishond Parker is een vriendelijke lobbes, net als de kat die lag te slapen in de gang.
Wat ons betreft is Bastide een aanrader dus.
PS. Eén klein minpuntje is dat ze geen airco hebben op de kamer. We konden ons behelpen met de ventilator, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het op hele hete dagen niet zo lekker slapen is.
