Exhibiting paintings by Carlos Araya Vargas, drawings by Elise Steiner and sculptures by Jeanne Rimbert
Founded in 1844 by Baron Taylor ("a scholar, an artist, a soldier, an archaeologist, a playwright", said actor Pierre Dux), the Association des artistes peintres, sculpteurs, graveurs, architectes et dessinateurs, known as the Taylor Foundation, has been supporting artistic creation in two ways ever since: by awarding prizes (around 50 each year) and scholarships, and by organizing exhibitions (around 20 each year). This structure, which now boasts over 6,000 members, is housed in a superb studio house built in 1832.
