The Bar House bar, nestled in the hotel's library, is an extremely chic and delightfully intimate place. Here you come to enjoy "beautiful horizontal", "buds" or "courtesans". Do you tenteriez the Elisa, made up of vanilla vodka, fruit of passion, sugar syrup and champagne or rather Adèle, Mélange, violet, rose syrup and cinnamon? A map is also planned for gourmets: caviar, gaspacho, tarama and foie gras are proposed.

We have just returned from a great stay at the Maison Souquet, specifically to mark and celebrate a significant life milestone. ||Based on our wonderful experience we’d especially like to to take the time to compliment all the staff and their attentions, and their sense of our needs as guests. ||On one particular occasion (witnessing a guest who seemed intent on persisting with a minor complaint solely to involve others present in their dissatisfaction) we were particularly impressed with the discretion and calm exhibited by staff involved. Based on this experience (and also with appropriate recognition of the cleanliness, service and entire ambience of Maison Souquet) we’d certainly contemplate any excuse at all for a return visit. ||Even without the wonderful, unexpected bonus private access to the beautiful pool and spa proved to be we were more than delighted with our stylish, luxurious yet appropriately casual temporary home in the heart of Montmartre during our time in Paris. ||As we are not typically '5 star' travellers we especially felt it was just the place for us in that regard too as it was clear to us it is a hotel that not just caters to that style of travel more than adequately, but also with a character all its own to boot. ||Until we visit again we will meanwhile more than delight in exploring deeper the soundtracks to our stay, from the hotel’s very own carefully curated playlists specifically to set the tone for morning, afternoon and evening (as I learned when I enquired). ||It's 5 stars from us for a 5 star hotel for sure, but a hotel also with just the right amount of the very best of Parisien character.

There are special places in the world — and this is undoubtedly one of them.

People often forget that true luxury lies in unique, unrepeatable experiences — those that couldn’t happen anywhere else. Not the cold opulence of marble and gilt, but something far more intimate and soulful.

The hotel’s history sets a particular mood, rich and evocative. But the space itself… I believe only in Paris could such refined, thoughtful, and delicate interior design truly come to life.

Both the rooms and the spa exude privacy and tranquility — and, needless to say, they are effortlessly sensual.

The service was attentive and gracious, and every detail — from the breakfast to the amenities — felt carefully curated and genuinely delightful.

Without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I write this review years after my stay, and yet the memory of that space lingers, quietly calling me back.
