Jose Maria Gomez Vega, the astonishing owner, knows how to put the sun in the hearts and stomachs with his humour and his heartfelt words, always played with a so seductive singing accent. Assisted by the delightful and radiant Susanna, he offers all the flavours of the peninsula for lunch and dinner during tasting. Le Comptoir is also a delicatessen: whole hams hang over the counter, Rioja and Rueda wines fill the shelves, cheeses and charcuteries are all Iberian Bellota (ham, paleta, chorizo​​, lomo).
