A palace of discovery featuring permanent and temporary exhibitions that explain modern science in a playful way.
Since 1937 and the International Fair, the Palais de la Découverte welcomes visitors that seek to better understand the world around us in the west wing of the Grand Palais. Permanent and temporary exhibitions explain in a fun way the challenges of modern science. Mathematics, geophysics, biology, astronomy, chemistry are presented in turn thanks to workshops, demonstrations or workshops animated by experienced scientists or professional students. The most important moment of the visit will be the discovery of the Planetarium, which will lead you to the exploration of the famous and unknown world. Note that Palais de la Découverte established a partnership with the City of sciences and industry to better share their resources and remains present for the delight of the public: 600,000 visitors per year were welcomed.
Be warned! The Palais de la Découverte will close its doors on 30 August 2020, in order to carry out major renovation work. The brand new Palace is scheduled to open in 2024. In the meantime, you will be able to find its offer in an ephemeral Palais de la Découverte, in the 15th arrondissement, in the Parc André Citroën

Déception quant au planetarium, où le ciel étoilé est statique durant plus d'une heure, le temps était bien trop long et devenu initéressant pour les plus jeunes.
