The Compagnie des Bateaux - Mouches® is an institution! It was founded in 1949 by Jean Bruel who wanted to restore the pleasures of the capital to the Parisians. To do this, what better way than showing it from the river? Previously used for the carriage of cargo, the idea of boats with glass sides to admire the banks was launched. A real success. The fleet now has 9 promenade boats and 6 restaurant boats!

Completely unacceptable behaviour of the crew. The guys kick out the boat, threting us verbally and physically grabbing my arm. Do not take this tour!

Great experience on this river cruise. Longer than we thought. We pre purchased tickets and easy in/out. Tons of open and inside seating. Nice way to see a large section of Paris for a decent price (under 20 EU per person). Was one of our favorite things on our recent trip.

Nice boat trip down the Sein with lots of information given on the sights. Extremely busy!
