Located in the hotel's former dining room, the Jacquemart-André café is the most beautiful tea room in Paris. Louis XV consoles in carved and gilded wood, magnificent 18th-century tapestries and to crown the whole painted ceiling of Tiepolo where the trompe-l'oeil characters leaning against the balustrade give the impression of greeting visitors. Pleasant, brunch on the terrace, overlooking the garden. This enchanting setting should take you back to the days of great artists such as Titian or Botticelli. A very beautiful break in the heart of the city, a spot not necessarily known - and that we are offering you!

Wat een bijzondere plek om even te ontsnappen aan de drukke straten van Parijs! Hadden we 'en passant' ontdekt, op weg naar het nabijgelegen Musée Nissim de Camondo (evenzeer een aanrader!). We kwamen er uiteindelijk 2 keer terug voor de lunch. We ruilden de geplande hipsterlunchadresjes bij het zien van de lange wachtrijen met plezier in voor deze baken van rust. We rondden onze citytrip af met l'heure du thé op het rustige terras. De bediening was vriendelijk én attent! De lunchmaaltijden waren verzorgd, lekker en smaakten eens zo goed in het authentieke decor. Bij een volgende bezoek zetten we ook het museum op de agenda. Echt een hidden jam!

Repas trés correct pendant une pause déjeuner. J'ai pris la formule quiche/salade + dessert à 19.80€ et c'était trés bien. La nourriture n'a rien d'exceptionnel mais ça fait l'affaire, le cadre est très joli.
Les desserts sont gros donc attention aux petits mangeurs. Tarte aux citrons pour ma part, ça cale bien !
