Boum Boum is a club with a chic, designer look, located a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe on Place de l'Étoile. It plays all the major hits of the moment, but its great originality lies in the interactivity it offers. The video clips of certain songs appear on a giant screen in karaoke mode, and everyone can sing along! It's easy to get in shape for a song, and it's a real treat. And even the massacre of a great classic has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Note that the atmosphere is very youthful.

Le lieu a été imaginé par l'architecte Charles Tassin dans un décor Néo 70's. Conçu comme un appartement parisien extravagant, le salon bar et sa terrasse sont l'espace idéal pour boire un cocktail au son de rythmes électro tribal.
Autre espace, autre ambiance : le Club participatif pensé comme une arène révèle écrans géants, rafales de confettis, pluie d'étincelles et explosions de fumée : plus qu'une boite de nuit classique, c'est une expérience interactive entre le lieu, le dj et la foule.

Inside decor is really nice, I'll give them that. People have listed the club being "small" as a negative, but I do think a cosy clubbing space could be a huge plus IF they stopped accepting more people than the club can hold! The issue isn't the size, it's the fact there's just too many people.
Note, you will see lots of people blatantly smoking cigarettes indoors, I counted at least 7 separate people while I was there, and security doesn't do anything about it. It's quite a small space, so not very pleasant.
The wait wasn't too bad, took about 15 minutes to get in on a Friday night. I had no issues with the bouncers. The people who I encountered on the dance floor were also pretty chill; I had a good time mingling with different groups. But ultimately, I did leave early because... well, if there's so many people I can't dance, that defeats the entire purpose of clubbing for me.
Overall, I don't know if I'd come here again. There's better clubs out there. But it's not a bad spot either. Just depends what you want out of your night, really!
