The Melia Royal Hotel is located on the banks of the Seine, between the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. In a neoclassical building, the hotel offers luxury service. Everything was renovated in 2014. The style of the rooms and the hotel combines modernity with some more classic notes. The Melia Royal Alma is famous for its superb international breakfast buffet, French and Spanish specialities.

The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were very helpful and attentive (thank you Isabel!). Our room was spacious and clean.
We would recommend this hotel.
Despite all these, front desk personnel are nice and polite. Location is very good and central. But absolutely doesn’t worth a stay.
Edit: The hotel has transferred my 32000 points to some other accounts so that I didn’t get any rewards from my stay. Make sure you check your points because someone is stealing it.
However, there are several downsides:
1- poor cleaning (trash, water, and tissues weren’t refreshed unless requested)
2- very small elevator
3- no bathroom fan
4- zero soundproofing — you can hear everything in the hallways, so it’s not ideal for light sleepers.
Overall, not worth the price.
