An emblematic Parisian landmark built for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, the tower was eventually preserved. An architectural challenge that still impresses with its legs weighing over 10,000 tonnes. The world's tallest monument until 1931, the tower has been 320 m high since 1957, when the antenna for French television was hoisted. From the second floor, 115 m above ground level, it is estimated that on a clear day you can see as far as 55 km to the south, 60 to the north, 65 to the east and 70 to the west.

Opening time and information on THE EIFFEL TOWER
Open all year round. Free for children under 4. Adult: €36.10 (for summit by elevator). Children (aged 4 to 11): €9.10. Other rates on line. People with reduced mobility (wheelchairs, mobility impairments, etc.) can access the 1st and 2nd floors by elevator. For safety reasons, the top of the Eiffel Tower is not accessible. Guided tour. Restaurant. Store. Discount for disabled persons and their companions on presentation of proof.
