The Groupement des intellectuels aveugles ou amblyopes was founded in 1949 as a non-profit association. It supports the blind or visually impaired by intervening in four key areas: reading, insertion, equipment and entertainment. Volunteers are welcome to perform, for example, secretarial, management or reception tasks, computer input, reading and recording books or magazines on CD, etc.
