Restaurant in Paris preparing traditional French dishes, meats, and appetising delicacies.

A change of destiny for this legendary restaurant which, after spending 75 years under the Invalides air terminal, has moved a few hundred meters to rue Amélie. A favourite with members of parliament, the financial world and the film industry, Chez Françoise offers traditional French cuisine of the highest quality, including veal, fillet of beef, fish of the day, well-crafted desserts and a fine wine list. Several menus are available, including the "parlementaire". The new space also boasts two privatizable lounges.

Une véritable déception. La nourriture était tout simplement immangeable, aucun goût et une texture douteuse. Même une simple tarte au citron était complètement ratée. Ce n’est pas ce que l’on attend d’une cuisine de brasserie française. À éviter absolument.

Can’t get better, a great meal from top to bottom. The lamb was crazy good, all the dishes were on point. Service was also top the manager and servers very attentive and give an amazing experience.

I really wanted to love this restaurant. The staff were welcoming and nice, and the ambiance was lovely. But the food left me feeling a bit disappointed. The steak my partner ordered was good, but the béarnaise tasted like it came out of a box. And his side was basically glorified mozzarella sticks. The scalloped potatoes that came with my dish were drenched in fat and yet still rather flavorless. The desserts were good, very tasty sorbets. Same for the wine, no complaints there. At first, we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were so reasonable given the white tablecloth ambiance, but really you're paying for the locale more than the food. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and really want a nice ambiance, this will do, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. If you're a novice to quality French food, this will probably suit you, but if you know your stuff, you'll be underwhelmed.
My indicated price per person is based on a meal with 2 main dishes (including one 500g steak), 1 glass of champagne, bottle of wine, and two desserts.
