A gallery as we like them, which opened its doors at the end of 2017 on the boulevard du Montparnasse. Father and son combine their respective skills here in Carrara marble, whose unique purity and whiteness have made it famous since ancient times, and the pearl of Fakarava, harvested from the oldest pearl farm still in operation on the Fakarava atoll (a UNESCO classified biosphere reserve). From it come large-scale sculptures by Nito DiDariel (the father), exhibited here and temporarily transported for some of them to the seabed of Fakarava. As for jewellery, it is Joachim himself who raises his pearl oysters: back in Paris, both of them brilliantly combine the finesse of the pearl and the strength of the marble. The jewels that result from it are unique and beautiful. In everyone's works, nature is never far away...

I discovered this place thanks to La Closerie Des Lilas- a friend who used to live in Paris had suggested that that I visit this iconic restaurant. After my wonderful meal I walked just a few steps up the street and stopped in my tracks. Maison DiDariel immediately caught my attention- there was something magical, powerful and beautiful about this place, the work, even the way it was displayed. I walked in and discovered a new world. Truly unforgettable experience, unique work rich in meaning. This place is now in my personal list of “must visit” spots in Paris.
