MUSÉE HÉBERT
Museum
Recommended
Located in the Hôtel de Montmorency-Bours (eighteenth century), this museum, currently closed for renovations work, contains works and personal documents of the painter Ernest Hébert (1817-1908). This artist full of delicacy was well known for his celebrity portraits and landscapes during the Second Empire and the beginning of the Third Republic - the apse of the Pantheon is thanks to him. He was twice the director of the Academy of France in Rome.
