Public fountains in Paris, all made of cast iron and covered in dark green.
They are iconic: the public fountains inherited their name from the British philanthropist Richard Wallace, who designed them and offered them to Parisians in the 1870s. It was the sculptor Charles-Auguste Lebourg who finalized their appearance. At 2.71 meters high, they feature four caryatids, but if you pay close attention you'll see that they're not all identical. However, some things don't change: they're all made of cast iron and covered in a dark green, which is their well-known signature.
