Restaurant-bar with terrace in Paris offering a menu of brasserie and gastronomic dishes.
La Closerie des Lilas was a hotspot of the Parisian artistic life. From Parnassians to surrealists via Verlaine, Baudelaire, Mallarmé, Hemingway... La Closerie has seen a beautiful crowd passing there. Its owner Serbe Miroslav Siljegovic and his son Alexandre have carried out some enhancement works to make the place even more brighter and welcoming. Whether it is on the terrace, in the dining room or under the glass roof, time seems to slow down as long as the pleasure of being at La Closerie is present. From the restaurant to the bar, everything is elegant and refined: mosaic floor, red moleskin benches, polished tables, shadded terrace, and excellent service. The bar remains a preferred place for those who want to enjoy a drink in a timeless atmosphere accompanied by a piano music. So, ideal for a last drink. As for the whiskeys, a nice list with Cardhu, Aberlour, Pady, Macallan, Famous Grouse, Bushmills, Cutty Stark... to be enjoyed with piano-bar music. As for the cuisine, there are two menus, one for the brasserie and the other for the more chic restaurant: gratinated marrowbone, toast of a Gribiche, small mesclun salad or Vendée duckling fillet, shallot confits, roasted fig and turnip for the first. For the gastro part: cooked and raw seasonal vegetables, tomato puree, grated summer truffle; Hemingway beef fillet with black pepper, Bourbon flambé, Pont-Neuf potatoes.
God mad og flot servering.
Piano musik i baggrunden virker meget romantisk.
