One of our favorite restaurants in our first trip to Paris. Service and food was fantastic and the server was welcoming and very helpful considering our language skills. Just a lovely evening!
I visited this restaurant because its crème brule was recommended. We were not totally not welcome because of an unknown reason. They insist to speak French although I could only speak English. The attitude towards us was very disturbing especially when you compare it with the ‘others’.
Crème brule was delicious but I cant take this attitude for a dessert.
Superb kitchen, great atmosphere and excellent service. I do not give out 5 stars often, but this place won me over on all counts. Been to many restaurants in Paris, and this would rank among the best. Went with my cousin. He and I split the beef bourguignon and seabass. Both were superb. The terrific waitress recommended an excellent wine (though she apologized that it was one of the more expensive - true but worth it), and she recommended the excellent Mi-cuit au chocolat for dessert. We split that and it concluded a memorably good meal. It is a lively place, but not loud. Highly recommend.
Nice food and all but I had hair in my beef and although I told the waiter he didn’t apologise and I still got charged full price. 27 euro for food with hair with no apology isn’t right.
On a very cold January evening I had the pleasure to stumble on this restaurant, on a lovely side street near Saint Sulpice. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and polite, and managed to offer me a table even though I had no reservation. I absolutely loved the food: the beef bourguignon was tasty, meat melting in your mouth, just the comfort food I needed. Had to have the crème brulée for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. Left the place with a full belly and a warm heart. Will definitely be back.
Crème brule was delicious but I cant take this attitude for a dessert.
The beef bouguignon very good.
