ARAB WORLD INSTITUTE

Institute Cultural center
3.9/5
10 reviews

Discover the Arab world and its cultural riches at the Institut du Monde Arabe, with exhibitions, films, concerts, meetings, debates and activities for children. The museum's collections are divided between Islamic art, ethnography, modern and contemporary art. The building itself (1987) is well worth a look, especially the 240 metal moucharabiehs. There's also a restaurant on the terrace, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Seine, Ile Saint-Louis and Notre-Dame, whose reconstruction is nearing completion.
