Bel locale, caratteristico, con un arredamento particolare. Siamo andati per pranzare e nonostante l'orario (15:00), ci hanno fatto accomodare. A quell'ora l'unico pasto disponibile è il Croque Monsieur, non è stato un problema essendoci recati lí proprio per quello. L'attesa è stata un po' lunga, ma il piatto era delizioso. Unica pecca il costo, 19€, ma essendo a Parigi a pochi passi dal Pantheon e da Nôtre Dame li vale tutti, oltre ad essere molto buono.

Charmant en gezellig lunchadres in een rustig straatje vlakbij het Pantheon in Parijs. Het uitzicht op de prachtige kerk maakt de ervaring nog specialer. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en het eten was subliem. Een echte aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een ontspannen en heerlijke lunchplek.

Très belle expérience, l’accueil est chaleureux ! Le cookie est très bon, ainsi que le gâteau au rhum. Bons cafés également et belle présentation.

The staff’s behavior is quite strange. The waiters call the owner if you accidentally break one of their multiple secret rules so that she can personally scold you — her remarks are usually unfounded and quite rude. “In my café, this is not allowed, and everyone knows that!” This behavior makes the customer feel as if they have been snitched on to the local gestapo officer.

No, actually, no one knows about these rules in advance. And the rules themselves are quite strange — there’s plenty of space, and this is a café, which not long ago used to be a library. And yet it’s impossible to open a laptop and work for a bit? Nonsense. The coffee is good, but because of the staff, I won’t be coming back.

The owner and service staff are the most condescending individuals that I have yet to come across in any café or such establishment during my life here in Paris. It’s clear that the owner hires individuals that follow in her footsteps. The owner upholds a series of seemingly arbitrary rules which are not displayed anywhere in the cafe, but if broken, will result in her coming over to your table to give you a nauseating lecture about how she doesn’t allow a certain behaviour in “her café” and how “everybody already knows about this,” somehow. She makes a point of delivering this information in English, even if you speak fluent French, and even if the rest of your interactions are in French, seasoning it with a maximally condescending tone of voice - almost as if to convince herself of her own superior intellectual ability and moral imperative. This is a shame, given that the coffee isn’t bad - but the atmosphere created by the behaviour of the staff in general makes the overall experience quite intolerable. Avoid!

Une merveille. Un lieu à la fois apaisant et animé, ce qui peut paraître contradictoire. Mais c'est une réalité. Le décor est chaleureux, l'accueil est sympathique, le moelleux au chocolat et aux amandes était très, très, bon, avec la fraîcheur du fait maison. L'expresso était parfait, avec le goût des cafés de qualité. L'endroit dispose en plus d'une petite terrasse sur la rue, un formidable poste d'observation.

Completely agree with some other reviews saying that they are impolite, and seem to have a lot of rules, which are too strict and not at all welcoming. I am really disappointed as someone from the neighborhood. The atmosphere was very negative from the beginning, so it tells you something about the management. I do not think I will go there again.

That was a really wonderful accidental discovery for me. Very nice atmosphere, beautiful design. I ordered a flat white and a scone, both were excellent! Highly recommended!

The best coffee shop/restaurant in the area. The Croque Monsieur probably one of the best in town. Sandrine the owner and her team are warm and welcoming. My favorite place in the neighborhood. Can’t recommend enough!!

Ambiance new-yorkaise. Très bonne qualité des produits. On aime l'originalité, l'adaptation aux saisons et l'offre. C'est très frais. L'équipe est très chaleureuse et féminine en salle. On adore les bons vins et notamment nuits d'ivresse. Merci!

Souhaitant venir déjeuner le samedi avec mon bébé en poussette, j’ai constaté à plusieurs reprises que ma demande était refusée, bien que des tables soient disponibles. Cette situation répétée me laisse penser qu’il pourrait y avoir une discrimination à l’égard des parents avec de jeunes enfants. Si vous affirmez le contraire n’hésitez pas à me proposer une table un samedi.

Wir haben noch nie erlebt, dass Kinder so unwillkommen waren wie hier! Unsere Tochter hockte (mit sauberen, trockenen Schuhen) auf dem Stuhl, weil sie nun mal mit 3 Jahren nicht groß genug ist um anders auf einem erwachsenen Stuhl essen zu können und wir wurden „gebeten“ dies zu unterlassen, weil die Stühle sehr „fragil“ seien. Ich frage mich, wie diese fragilen Sitzgelegenheiten vor den Nieten von Jeanshosen geschützt werden?
Der Höhepunkt war aber nachdem wir für 3 Stücke leckeren Kuchen und zwei Kaffees 41€ geblecht haben, dass die Besitzerin mir noch nicht einmal Hilfe anbot als ich den Kinderwagen die Stufen der Eingangstür hinunter manövrierte und mir stattdessen lieber mürrisch zuschaute.
Danke, nie wieder auch wenn der Kuchen lecker war!
