Just a stone's throw from Jardin Des Plantes, the Grand Mosque of Paris, North African-style houses several spaces, including a magnificent tea room. Its interior is cosy and exotic, the walls are covered with tiles, these famous Moroccan patterns and the tables are copper plates. Once you are comfortably installed, the waiters come around to serve hot and deliciously sweetened mint tea. You can choose to accompany it with oriental pastries (gazelle horns, loukoum…). You can enjoy the large green terrace filled with birds on sunny days. Refinement and rest are the key words of this place.

Sans même nous demander ce que nous souhaitions, il est revenu avec deux thés imposés et a exigé le paiement immédiat. Lorsque nous avons voulu commander des pâtisseries, il nous a simplement dit d’aller au stand à l’intérieur. Sur place, il n’y avait personne, et au final, c’est encore lui qui est venu nous servir… mais en nous refacturant une seconde fois !
La terrasse était pourtant vide, donc difficile de justifier un tel manque de service. Quant aux pâtisseries, elles étaient décevantes : sèches, sans saveur, avec une texture proche d’une pâte d’amandes industrielle.
Un lieu pourtant emblématique, mais une expérience gâchée par un service bâclé et une qualité en nette baisse.
But the first waiter made us feel like we were not welcome. Really rude and in a rush. His colleague, who arrived later, was smiling and kind.
The place itself is really nice, feels like you've travelled all the way to Morocco.

Le tajine kefta était très bonne ainsi que la pâtisserie. En revanche le thé à la menthe pas top du tout.
Les tarifs sont corrects mais sous la terrasse c'est un peu bruyant.
