Just a stone's throw from Jardin Des Plantes, the Grand Mosque of Paris, North African-style houses several spaces, including a magnificent tea room. Its interior is cosy and exotic, the walls are covered with tiles, these famous Moroccan patterns and the tables are copper plates. Once you are comfortably installed, the waiters come around to serve hot and deliciously sweetened mint tea. You can choose to accompany it with oriental pastries (gazelle horns, loukoum…). You can enjoy the large green terrace filled with birds on sunny days. Refinement and rest are the key words of this place.

Closed - Open to 18h00

There's no crocodile in the busy crowd at this strange, dark little bar on the outskirts of the Pantheon. Behind the long wooden bar, a shaker genius concocts 350 cocktails with decadent perfume names. Chemin de Damas, Clou Rouillé, Jolie Môme and Brûle Pourpoint come and go as the place fills up and conversations liven up. You feel transported out of time in this warm, noisy house. A classic that's changed a lot since the 1970s. Today, the mood is more reggae and African music.

Rooted in the attractive Mouffetard street for many years, this bar, in the shade Roadhouse 69, will welcome you every evening, despite its advanced age, in a Latin ambiance, Reggaeton, Electro, house, funk… Besides drinking a drink, dancing, dredging, you can also watch the retransmission of football matches or rugby matches. With such tariffs, it would be a pity to deprive ourselves. The old oak is ageing well, thanks to the constant student population that renews each year.

If the place's regulars, often students, feel the warm ambiance imbued in the brick walls, it's because the owners uphold the fundamentals of a successful buddy night: beer and match. Whether you prefer American or European beer, bottled or draught, cocktails or rum, your thirst will be quenched here. LE VIOLON DINGUE

Pub
3.5/5

Closed - Open to 18h00

At the top, it's a fairly classical pub with its long bar of skated wood where beer flows. The students of the Sorbonne love to find themselves here, as well as tourists visiting the Pantheon. Quiet recreation, nice discussions, but as soon as the evening starts, the bar is filled with revellers. This is where you discover the basement, a vaulted cellar where you can enjoy a careful playlist. The atmosphere warms up and we quickly left to celebrate all night long. Attention, the place fills quickly, and sometimes you get the impression of being compressed. A student bar that is worth a visit.

Want a fetish at 4 am in the morning? No problem, the Saint-Michel departure is open day and night! A real reference for lovers of the 5 th arrondissement, it is ideally placed, just steps from Notre-Dame cathedral. From here the sight is fascinating, especially in the morning: located on the large heated terrace, guests can admire the quays of the Seine, illuminated by a magnificent sunrise, while sipping their coffee. A real pleasure… It must be said that the boss and the servers do everything to make one feel good. Smiling and kind, they will not hesitate to chat with you if there are not too many people. In addition to its unique setting, it also owes its reputation to the quality of the products it offers, including its famous brûlée cream. The only negative point is high prices, but quality always has a price!

CAFE LEA

A few steps from the bottom of the rue Mouffetard, a café that is connected as one does not find much in the neighborhood and therefore necessarily very frequented by the youth of the corner - the college of Censier is not far away. A modern and colourful décor, the walls are united orange, yellow and purple, with a small colonial woody touch. A pretty zinc, large windows, and it's left for endless relaxation in a somewhat bobo atmosphere, a slightly arty arty. The reception is sometimes a bit slow, but always nice and young students are making charming smiles. The music rises as the evening progresses, the style varies according to the tastes of catering.
