More than for beer, we come to the Pub Saint-Michel for the atmosphere. Every evening amateur singers fight the microphone for a karaoké karaoke. The place is overflowing with life as well as a DJ or a game. In the latter case, the atmosphere touches its height! Even if the pub extends over several levels, some nights, it's almost impossible to find any place to sit down… which can quickly get tired. But who said we were going to sit down?

Same experience shared by some other customers. Very unsafe place to go - especially if you are a tourist and you do not speak French. Someone stole my wallet in this bar and I suspect it was the staff. Moreover there is a serious criminal case involving the bar where some hooligans assaulted three tourists (ethnic minority) who were refused access to the bar and were assaulted for not speaking French. The bar deleted CCTV footage based on French press. I would recommend taking your business somewhere else, safer.

Je suis d'origine maghrébine alors je comprends que je devrais éviter ce pub si je ne veux pas me faire agresser par les policiers en civil qui fréquentent ce pub, ou au moins que les caméras de vidéo surveillance ne soient pas effacées pour que l'enquête soit menée et que justice soit rendue. La vidéo publiée dans la presse en ce mois de Mai 2025 est absolument choquante.
