A beautiful literary address! Café Livre offers you a drink or a piece in a real library. The walls are covered with books, which you can browse as you wish. The location is comfortable and spacious: beautiful leather benches await you. The map offers a bistro kitchen and homemade drinks, such as the special coffee mojito or home delicious, banana juice, strawberry juice, fresh mint and lemon. A place where it is good to take the time, all the more so since here you will not be thrown outside the twelfth coup. Because the Café Book is not a night bar, but it knows how to adapt to the time.

I’ve been here twice, and the staff were always horrendous. The final time, I walked in just asking to wash my hands because a pigeon on the way had mistaken it for a restroom—and their only response was “clients only. Use the one on the street.” (which, if you know anything about Paris, you know never have soap). All experiences together, one of the very worst places I’ve been in my three years living in this city.

Le cadre est agréable et l’emplacement assez central. Le concept est assez original cependant, les consommations sont assez chères. Après avoir payé 6 euros de chocolat chaud, on m’a clairement fait comprendre que je devais à nouveau consommer si je ne voulais pas changer de table (on entrait dans le service du soir) alors même que je n’étais là que depuis une demi-heure et que la salle était vide.
