This historic café-théâtre nestles behind a porte cochère in the courtyard of a former coaching inn. In the early days, a band of young acrobats created an artistically ambitious company. From the late 1970s onwards, the four-hundred-and-fifty-seat venue hosted an increasing number of shows by comedians and singers from other parts of the world, revealing a host of talents, including CharlElie Couture, Richard Gotainer, Smaïn, Marc Jolivet, Marianne Sergent, Chevallier et Laspalès and Benoît Poelvoorde...

The history of the Théâtre des Blancs-Manteaux began in 1972. A mecca for café-théâtre humor and non-conformist chanson, it has welcomed Renaud, Jacques Higelin, Alex Métayer, Michèle Laroque, Virginie Lemoine, Marianne James, Anne Roumanoff... Today, humor is still the strong point of this small theater, which comprises two rooms, each with around one hundred seats.
