This funny history that of the Semicolon. In 1975, a group of youth actors like Martin Lamotte, Gérard Lanvin or Anemone build a place called "La Veuve Pichard". Three years later, Christian Varini follows the theater and creates the Semicolon. It became famous in the tea Trempoint, stage discovered comedians still today place on saturdays at 16:00. Since 2005, Jean-Marc Dumontet managed with passion this cult place and continues to provide the best burlesque scene. Shows of Nicolas Canteloup or Alex Lutz were particularly produced by Dumontet. Each year, the best comedians find themselves in Olympia for a unique sight. This is how the smallest of the Parisian rooms is one of the great names of the capital...

With its exotic atmosphere, its countless tea jars each more enchanting than the last, the fine and delicate teapots and cups, Mariage Frères hasn't finished to seduce you. The prices are the same. Because if lovers of tea are ready to sacrifice an important part of their money to enjoy the most subtle combinations, the neophyte can practice on very affordable teas with perfumes from elsewhere. The tea room and the restaurant allow you to enjoy tea in all its forms: cuisine with tea, with for example a salmon with Jade tea powder infusion, desserts with tea, such as the creme brulee with Marco Polo tea, or fruit cocktails with tea, like the Habibi, a frosty mixture with Casablanca green and black tea. LE COX

Bar and caf

Open - Close to 02h00

Gay and very "guys", one of the gay locomotives in the neighborhood. The ritual is fun: until 18 p. m. there is virtually no one. Then it's the happy hour and as soon as 19 p. m., the beer flows through it: The bar is flooded to the point of literally blocking the sidewalk for almost two hours, both summer and winter. Then boys go dinner and there is no longer a big world until closure. In Cox, you'll find a lot of guys, quadras or a little less, short hair, @, tattooed, tattooed, tan, jean, or leather. The interior decoration changes every three months - from the farm to the casino. Well-known DJ djs perform on the players every evening. For those that the mass effect does not rebute, it is an essential bar of the Marais. To advise the canada and claustrophobes, even on the terrace. This dredge at all goes! Two events not to be missed: the aperitif of Pride and especially the Festival of Music.

For many years, Bear's Den offers a warm atmosphere for bears and teddy bears and their friends in a true stone decor. On three levels, Bear's Den proposes outside: a terrace inside: a bar on the ground floor, a mezzanine floor and a disco-bar area where you will be able to relax on the latest dance-hits as well as the oldest hits. Crowded at the time of the aperitif, it is very often in the second basement room where the thematic evenings take place - refer to the agenda on the website, detailed and very well updated. The vaulted room of the basement (very beautiful) hosts clubbing evenings, with a pretty good sound from the seventies to the present.

LE TROISIEME LIEU

Originally called La Canteen des Ginettes armed, this place of 300 m 2, originally lesbian, became mixed on two levels in the heart of Paris has only one currency: " We eat, drink, dance. " The garden, between fun kitsch and "as at home" makes this bar a unique place of its kind. It is in several versions, bourgeois for the dining room with old wallpaper wallpaper and lustre, kitchen in another room with bed and red and white tiles, half caravan as separation, for another, with a large U at the entrance, a DJ cabin. There are large dining to eat together or a submarine in the basement, not to mention the DJs'caravan. There are salads, croques, dishes of the day, breakfast plates. A lot of choices at very reasonable rates given the neighbourhood. Daily music programming, especially electro-magnetic. Lesbian mixed public - especially -homo - some - and hetero - a little too much. Very noisy place because of - or thanks to? - its success. Girls in the service are speeds and often at the limit of kindness. Regular alternative evenings, consult the site for dates.

LE BOUQUET DES ARCHIVES

Open - Close to 02h00

This small brasserie in the heart of the Marais is mainly appreciated for its friendliness. We feel comfortable at Le Bouquet des Archives and it is not uncommon for us to stay until closing! We like to come in the summer, to enjoy the large terrace (and its water misters) and sometimes stop there to eat something (the burgers are delicious). During competitions, football matches are broadcast. A very friendly bistro!

BOUBALÉ - LE BAR

Cocktail bar

With or without discovering the excellent eponymous restaurant, whose Middle Eastern and Eastern European flavours will take you on a journey like nowhere else, a visit to the Boubalé bar is highly recommended. The term "bar" would almost be reductive, as the place is so cozy and offers a selection of cocktails and various preparations that will amaze you: no audacity is shied away from here, and the team of professionals who run it so well have made it one of the best Parisian spots in the field.

Located on the grand rue de Rivoli, you will have to open the eye to see the small entrance of this jazz club. Once the vestibule has passed, you can take place in one of the three pretty vaulted cellars for a musical aperitif. According to the programming you will enjoy classical concerts, jazz or bossa. On Mondays evening, jam-sessions are organised under the name "The Two Sauces". On Monday, at a. m., a sweet sour beef for amateurs, beginners or shy and at 20 p. m., a tangy sauce sustained by talented musicians. On Thursday evening, it is organic sauce in the programme (totally acoustic: no amplifier or microphone)! Finally, on Sunday at 17 a. m., you can discover old music concerts around a baroque tea.

This historic café-théâtre nestles behind a porte cochère in the courtyard of a former coaching inn. In the early days, a band of young acrobats created an artistically ambitious company. From the late 1970s onwards, the four-hundred-and-fifty-seat venue hosted an increasing number of shows by comedians and singers from other parts of the world, revealing a host of talents, including CharlElie Couture, Richard Gotainer, Smaïn, Marc Jolivet, Marianne Sergent, Chevallier et Laspalès and Benoît Poelvoorde...

THÉÂTRE DES BLANCS-MANTEAUX

The history of the Théâtre des Blancs-Manteaux began in 1972. A mecca for café-théâtre humor and non-conformist chanson, it has welcomed Renaud, Jacques Higelin, Alex Métayer, Michèle Laroque, Virginie Lemoine, Marianne James, Anne Roumanoff... Today, humor is still the strong point of this small theater, which comprises two rooms, each with around one hundred seats. The first is housed in a vaulted cellar, while the second is fully tiered.

CAFE BEAUBOURG

Bar and caf
4/5

Gay friendly brasserie thanks to its strategic location between the Marais and its extension across the Côté boulevard as well as Châtelet. One of the countless comics of the Costes group, with its qualities and flaws. The interior is cosy and it is tempting to stay for hours for chatting, a mezzanine gives you an overview of the room. The huge terrace overlooking the The of Beaubourg is ideal for the curious, but also the s, even the minesweepers. The map does not renew much, but we can find its happiness with a tartare - excellent - a Caesar salad - one of the best in Paris - or Milanese steak - of good craftsmanship. It is a small, medium-sized ticket that allows you to moderate the addition. A classic of the neighborhood, ideal on the terrace to see and be seen.

LE LIZARD LOUNGE

Cafconcert

In an atmosphere reminiscent of a New York alley with the long apparent red brick walls and the little mezzanine in metal reinforcement, a pub all that there are more Anglo-Saxon. Behind the long wooden bar, young British-style waiters are ready to prepare for cocktails whose home specialty is the Screaming Tourismegay, for an English audience always present in number. Large tiles everywhere display the numerous cocktails and snacks. At the bottom, the large two-piece cellar has its own bar and hosts Wednesday to Saturday Djs from all sides - rather good programming for a bar: électro, house, groove, rythm'n'blues… for holidays with London accents.

LE PICK-CLOPS

Bar and caf
3.4/5

Here, it's like Casimir decided to redo the plant. Tables in yellow or blue formica, large mirrors with walls and plastic everywhere for a very US style 1950. If the Pick-Clops is not as connected as a few years ago, its terrace is still full at the time of the aperitif and inside the reception has not changed, always as simple, friendly and smiling, which is not negligible since in the corner you are often too slow to smile to customers. Rock music, a young and playful guest, a waitresses who déversent a lot of whole peanuts on your table by bringing the drinks. You can also eat a little one before you go to the Marais.

Here, everything is happening in the basement: The bar splits the space into two sex zones with backrooms, cabins, certain plugs, sling, urinals and cabins. The place is not done for femmelettes! Full Metal organizes an evening for the skins (skulls razed). Dresscode is strict: leather, rubber, skin, sport, military. Some evenings are very special and to be reserved for a very knowledgeable audience (Spandex - synthetic material, mud, etc.). Weekly evenings: Monday Playing only, Tuesday Look destroy, every Wednesday Leather in action. Monthly evenings. SECTEUR X

Lounge bar
2/5

How does one of the last few Parisian sex clubs come to the full, including in August, while many local bars attend without the disaffection of their customers? Perhaps because here many things are radically wrong with what we are accustomed to elsewhere. First, the reception is not extravagant, but sober, humble and professional. Then Francis, the boss, doesn't grow to consumption (only one glass is enough to take advantage of the place) and everyone is housed in the same sign, without discrimination. Finally, prices are low, and even very low. And as a bonus, smokers have a cabin at their disposal. Don't forget that Rafael at the cloakroom is really very pleasant to watch. Yet, at the opening, none would have bet a penny on the success of this place, so it is close to Full Metal and HQ (now the Krash). Today, he has created a clientele of regulars with many visitors from province and abroad. It is small and therefore conducive to fast and free approaches. Bar on the ground floor, then 2 basements for fun, some cabins and a cross of Saint André. Every Saturday, from 15 p. m., «Leather and Slavic afternoon», every Sunday, Snike and Piss afternoon… You are warned!

Old Mix Bar and the newest gay bar in the capital, frequented by young people would surprise before the box exit. Music house and techno, a dark atmosphere and very little space to sit, but it is not in any case the kind of clientele that tends to trémousser under the blaffard lighting of the Enseigne sign which dominates the bar. The area is often crowded and overflowing on the mini in the street. A second shelter in the basement is still calmer. Young and trendy clientele.

Closed since 2018, it reopened in September 2023: the Théâtre de la Ville, now known as the Théâtre de la Ville - Sarah Bernhardt, now boasts state-of-the-art cultural facilities. Inside, the theatre's seating capacity has been maintained at 950, and the same cream-colored seats have been reinstalled as during the last major restructuring in 1968. The programming is intended to be "popular".
