This restaurant puts the spotlight on Auvergne cuisine and products from Aveyron. Its other common thread is homemade dishes. The menu isn't long, but it's mouth-watering: aubrac tartare, Auvergne sausage from capelin pig, young Aveyron beef onglet carefully selected with La Table de Solange, a breeder-butcher for seven generations in Rouergue. For dessert, a plate of Auvergne cheeses accompanied by a sweet treat (tatin, profiteroles...) marks the epilogue of this regional stopover.

I ended up here by accident. I was headed to a place I know doesn’t take reservations so I didn’t make one. Maybe I should have checked they were open on Mondays. Anyway we needed a restaurant nearby to have dinner before heading to a music club. All that to say they were very kind to fit us in without a reservation especially when it turned out they were unbelievably busy. Not long after we were seated the place filled up. The staff was nice. The food had good flavor. However there were only 3 servers for the whole place and one of them was also the hostess and one of the others was the bartender. How they managed at all I don’t know but it did translate to very slow service and our meals had been sitting so long that they were no longer warm when we got them. And I liked the atmosphere. The chairs were comfortable and setting very pleasant.

Restaurant sympa avec une belle décoration.
Nous avons prit deux formules brunch à volonté.
Café et jus pressées/détox très rafraîchissant.
Saumon frais, huîtres fraîches, verines et sauces très bonnes!
En revanche il y avait des moules marinières qui sont rester au chaud trop longtemps… trop cuite et odeur qui ne donnaient pas envie..
Fondant au chocolat excellent!
Dans l’ensemble c’était bon mais il y aurait des petites choses à perfectionner pour le prix du buffet :)
