La Mezcaleria-Bar Clandestino isn't a bar, quite the contrary. It's simply the bar of the chic 4-star 1K hotel, a temple of Peruvian culture in Paris. And it takes its name from mezcal, an agave-based beverage distilled at around 40°. This spirit is reminiscent of tequila. The cocktails based on Peruvian brandy are all very surprising, like El Pepino: Pisco Tacama Acholado Hendrick's, fresh cucumber juice, yellow chartreuse, house rosemary liqueur, lemon juice, yolk, sugar, egg white and wasabi.
