You'll find this trendy café right in the heart of Paris. Le Partisan is first and foremost a coffee roaster, creating a wide range of premium coffees from Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Kenya and Indonesia, for example. But beyond that, it's a place where many people come for a break: morning regulars who drop in before work, or less regular visitors who settle in for a while. Note that you can also order your coffee and take it away with you.

Average latte and carrot cake wasn’t anything to rave about. Maybe people come here for the vibes but not worth your taste buds.

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. We ordered coffee and sat down, and my child took out a small pastry we had brought along. Almost immediately, a staff member approached and told us outside food wasn’t allowed. While I understand if that’s the policy, there were no signs or notices anywhere in the café or near the counter mentioning this rule.

What really shocked me was that the staff asked us to take the already half-eaten cookie out of my child’s hands. It was an unnecessarily harsh and uncomfortable situation, especially considering we had ordered coffee and were paying customers.

To make matters worse, the way the staff spoke to us was rude and completely lacking in empathy. Instead of a friendly explanation, we were met with cold and unfriendly behavior. We left soon after, and unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. What should have been a simple and pleasant coffee break turned into an upsetting experience. Very disappointing.
