1 K is a hotel that wants to be ethnic, where the atmosphere of the INCA culture is omnipresent (or almost) in the decoration, which highlights Peruvian objects and bright colours in the reception part. This will be a total change of scenery as soon as you enter. A terrarium and its "mascottes" welcome you... The rooms are design and more soft but very personalized. There is a duplex and a suite with rooftop swimming pool - the ultimate in luxury! The establishment has also a Peruvian restaurant, and two bars: 1K Pisco Bar with plant sky and its cocktails based on Pisco and its En K, and the clandestine bar of 1 K, Mezcaleria. This is a Mexican enclave in full heart of Paris where you can drink signature cocktails based on mezcal under the watchful eye of the Virgen...

We stayed in the Superior Double Room, which was spacious, clean, and tidy. The windows opened wide to let in fresh air, and the room also had functioning AC, which was great. While the shower water pressure could have been stronger and the mini bar fridge wasn’t cold, these were only minor issues in an otherwise very comfortable stay.
The service really stood out, the reception staff were all very friendly and spoke perfect English. They helped us store butter in the kitchen fridge and quickly resolving an issue when our room’s card reader stopped working by giving us a physical key.
Our room (414) had stained carpet (didn't feel comfortable walking around without tennis shoes), the floor boards were rotting and paint chipped away, the walls had been patched and not even painted some areas had fingerprints like people had ketchup ur blood on their hands, the lights were flickering. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain, the toilet gurgled and ran all night, the air unit didn't work(the second night they brought us a fan), the shower had a head on it that didn't aim down, so it sprayed water all over the bathroom. You couldn't even stand under the head to wash properly.
Pretty disappointed.
