The name says it all: Au Top overlooks Paris from the 5th floor of a building in the Marais district. While the view of the capital's rooftops is exceptional, the cuisine should also give you a taste for the heights. Whether indoors or out, Jean-Philippe de la Perle's restaurant offers a well-thought-out, perfectly executed bistronomic menu: octopus with aromatic juice, coquelet in crapaudine and multicolored vegetables, grilled and candied citrus fruits, to name but a few.

Pour boire un verre (un peu cher) c’est très sympa, mais pas pour manger.
La nourriture est bonne et plutôt copieuse mais pour la qualité servie, les prix sont carrément déraisonnables (45€ une côte de veau avec des patates ?) !
Deux autres points noirs : le service, très sympa au demeurant, mais d’une lenteur (nous attendons toujours la deuxième carte de cocktail… oubli du pain 3 fois etc.) et l’immeuble (la cour est laide, l’entrée du restaurant également…)
En bref’ on ne peut pas dire que ça soit mauvais mais c’est très cher pour la qualité dispensée.
